I'm supposed to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. But the peace that would come as counterfeit, before the true peace, should I pray for it? Christ's crucifixion set me free. But should I glory in the death and method of it? It is a mystery of the state of my heart. If the false peace is just a precursor to the true peace, should I play a part in ushering it in? Is it just the state of my heart I should be concerned with? Maybe.
